Lundén Architecture Company and Arhitekt11 win Tõnismägi School Competition in Tallinn

The Finnish-Estonian collaboration of Lundén Architecture Company and Arhitekt11 has been awarded first prize for their innovative proposal for a new state high school in Tõnismägi, Tallinn.
The proposal “Stack” introduces a new school typology which reflects the forward-thinking values of the Estonian education system, derived from Nordic models. “Stack” offers an innovative and Nordic approach to learning environments, one that provides a sustainable and versatile platform for learning. With its prime location next to the National Library of Estonia, and flexible and inclusive learning spaces, the project hopes to serve as a precedent for future schools. The design phase will begin immediately and the school will be completed by 2024.
