Lundén Architecture Company and Arhitekt11 win Raadi Education and Community Centre Competition in Tartu

Lundén Architecture Company has won the open architecture competition for a multifunctional educational and community centre for the Raadi neighbourhood in Tartu, Estonia. The winning entry for the 25 000m2 complex with high ecological standards is a major contribution in the export of Finnish expertise in the field of education and wood construction. The proposal “A Community under Many Roofs” was developed by the Lundén Architecture Company in collaboration with Tallinn-based office, Arhitekt11. The two offices have successfully collaborated in the past on designing educational buildings, creating the architectural plans for the Tönismägi State High School based on their 2020 winning competition proposal, which will be constructed next to the National Library of Estonia in the heart of Tallinn.
