Lundén Architecture Company strengthens its competence and management
“The built environment as an industry is in transition. Our customers are increasingly asking about urban development rather than just architectural design, and we want to develop accordingly,” says Lundén Architecture Company founder, Eero Lundén. “Our Kupittaa Core Alliance is a key example of a project where spatial and functional planning alone is not enough. These projects require a deeper understanding of a city’s strategies and opportunities for innovation.”
To help us respond to this need, Matti Kuronen, PhD (Technology) has joined as Chief Innovation Officer in the management team of Lundén Architecture Company. “I believe that vision and citizen engagement will play a decisive role in the future development of cities, a trend we are already beginning to see”, says Kuronen.
In his new role, Kuronen will be responsible for strengthening both new business areas and the management of the office. With his background in managing both private construction companies and public organizations, he provides a valuable perspective to the development of our operations. In his capacity in coordinating the Viikki innovation campus ecosystem, he also broadens our existing network with universities and researchers.
