Lundén Architecture Company wins purchase in Jätkäsaari school competition

Lundén Architecture Company, in collaboration with Ramboll Finland Oy and Granlund Finland Oy wins purchase in two-phase open competition of Jätkäsaari school.

The proposal for the new Jätkäsaari school studies how the paradigm shift in learning affects the physical educational environment. The proposal ‘Kolme kaupunkia’ or ‘Three cities’ aims to create a completely novel learning environment that provides children, together with the whole community, a platform for learning. Instead of secluded institutions, schools should be seen as resources for the communities – as places supporting life-long learning.
